Overview

Synapse — AI Chat Organizer ("Synapse", "we", "our") is a Chrome browser extension that helps users organize their AI chat conversations from ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

Synapse operates entirely within your browser. All data — including saved conversations, folders, tags, and settings — is stored locally using Chrome's built-in storage API (chrome.storage.local). No data is ever sent to external servers.

What Synapse Accesses

Synapse accesses the following, solely to provide its core functionality:

• Page content on supported sites (chatgpt.com, claude.ai, gemini.google.com): To scan and detect conversation titles and metadata for import into your local library.
• Chrome Storage: To save your organized conversations, folders, tags, and preferences locally on your device.
• Tabs: To detect which AI chat site you are currently visiting.
• Side Panel: To display the Synapse library interface.

Data Storage

• All data is stored locally on your device using chrome.storage.local.
• No data is uploaded to any cloud service or third-party server.
• No analytics, tracking, or telemetry data is collected.
• No cookies are set by Synapse.

Third-Party Services

Synapse does not use any third-party services, APIs, or analytics platforms. The extension functions entirely offline after installation.
